Who says only cops investigate? Well, it’s a never for the SPJ as it opens ‘Research and Investigative Journalism’ to its Third year students.

 

            The Third year of the course allows the students under their Advanced English III subject to come up with their Research projects with their own selection of topics – not only in science – about social issues, divinity and even politics, then investigate the topics as a group and come up with their own Research write-up.

 

            Is that all? No, that would never be complete without a video production! After the research write-up, the Journalism III subject requires them to create their own Magazine type documentary with their own production team about their research topic. After a Magazine type documentary, the students are going to make an Investigative documentary with their crew and own choice of topic. The students are allowed to explore the depths of their research as they travel with the creation of their documentaries.
