Special Program in Journalism
ADMISSION PROCESS
Admission is open to incoming Grade 7 learners who have obtained an average of atleast 88 in English and Filipino and a general average of 85% and above in Grade 6 who exhibit talent in Journalism and who have passed the qualifying test and interview to be conducted by the school.
The school will accept at least 30 students who have talent or who have shown great interest in journalism.
Selection of teachers:
1. The teacher handling SPJ should be at least a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English.
2. He/She should have at least 2-year experience as journalism teacher/or as school paper adviser.
3. He/She should be computer literateand should be willing to undergo training.
